The public speaking skills training portion of our program allows participants the opportunity to give several practice presentations in front of a camera and a live audience, offering feedback in the form of instructor led critiques and a video record of participants’ presentations that can be easily accessed at a later time for independent review.

One reason that presenters fail at delivering effective presentations is because they rely too much on tools like PowerPoint, which often results in little more than a live reading of presentation slides.  This type of presentation is monotonous and destined to fail because it lacks several essential elements of a successful presentation.  PowerPoint presentation training is included in the course of instruction so that participants can learn to use PowerPoint as it was meant to be used: as a tool, not as a surrogate instructor.  Audiences connect with people, not projectors.

Training in presentation skills is ideally delivered over two days of instruction that covers the basic elements of an effective presentation.  After the training, participants will have sharpened their presenting skills to the point where they will be able to craft presentation content that not only captivates audiences, but persuades them to act on the information delivered.  Participants will learn how to connect with audiences in a way that inspires confidence and builds trust.
